What do I do if my product needs repair?

Please ship ALL of the following items along with your product:

Accessories that are not pertinent to the repair of your product should not accompany the camera when being shipped. We recommended removing the following items: (i.e. batteries, film, straps and cases). Picture Perfect Unlimited is not responsible for film left in cameras.

All return shipments have a $10.00 charge for return shipping, handling and insurance (if applicable). All products will be shipped via UPS.

Most estimates include a routine overhaul, unless otherwise noted. A routine overhaul consists of the following:

Estimates are based on a preliminary inspection. If further damage is discovered upon disassembly of your product, we have the option of revising the estimate provided to you.

Normal repair time is 12 - 18 days from the date the estimate is approved. Turnaround time may vary based on the time of year and the volume of products received. We stock parts on the more popular cameras; however, it is impossible to stock every part for every camera. If parts are needed that are not in stock the repair may take longer.

If your standard one year manufacture warranty has expired, or if the repair is not covered under the terms of this warranty, we will send you a free repair estimate for your approval. Upon your approval of the estimate (and payment in full), your product will be put in line for repair. Repair time is approximately 12 - 18 working days after approval of an estimate. Approvals may be given by phone, fax or with our Online Approval Form, with payment by Master Card or Visa.

All photographic repairs have a warranty of 180 days and professional equipment has a warranty of 90 days. The repair warranty is not only limited to the repair that was performed; we guarantee your product to be free of defect for the warranty period. We cannot warranty a particular repair if the manufacturer no longer provides parts for your model.
